Opeyemi is an accountant and works with Diageo as the Head of Reserve in charge of the commercialization of the luxury drinks portfolio . Prior to joining Diageo , Opeyemi worked in the banking sector for 12 years and rose to be the head of premium banking segment at FCMB. She also did a stint in Private banking at First Bank, where she led a team of 7 in developing wealth and investment opportunities for High networth Individuals.
She is an alumnia of the university of lagos and also holds a MBA degree from the university of Leicester.
Opeyemi is passionate about the development and economic empowerment of women and sits on the board of several NGOs who are committed to empowering the girl child .she is also a diversity and inclusion champion at Guinness Nigeria, a Diageo company, where she advocates for females who have chosen a career in hospitality , especially Bar tendering.
She loves to travel and learn about other cultures.
